Getting Started with Faction

Faction provides zero-configuration secure networking for IoT devices, cameras, and edge computing.

What is a Faction Pod?

The Faction Pod is a compact networking device that creates an encrypted tunnel between your devices and the Faction network. Once adopted into your faction, all traffic is encrypted end-to-end.

Quick Setup

1. Connect the Pod to power via USB-C (9V PD recommended)
2. Connect your devices to the Pod LAN port
3. Connect the Pod WAN port to your network
4. Open the Faction app and scan the Pod QR code
5. The Pod automatically joins your faction — no configuration needed

Note

The Pod requires a 9V USB-C PD power source for full functionality. 5V operation is supported but the status LED will indicate reduced power.
